Stories Of Interest

Here are some links to my stories for the past couple of weeks. It’s been a busy time and a lot of interesting events have been worthy of a summary of the facts.

How I love to write

I love to help the reader with more information and background than the average news article presents. This may involve deciphering an insider’s terminology, looking into the history of someone or something, or giving more background to a complicated article or event.

A lot of times, we get interested when a series of events is reaching an interesting point. There are new computers and tablets that are gossiped about, but we get no details until the top reviewers can actually work with the devices and tell us what they think of them.

Sometimes, a warning needs to be repeated about such things as computer and internet scams, why we should care about the failed Congressional Supercommittee, and that the Fukushima nuclear disaster is far from over.

And a good recipe is something of beauty to share. The best part is when new cooks actually learn the basics of preparing their own tasty, healthy, cheaper and better food.

So here are some stories and blogs that help to get the fuller picture, along with a couple of recipes that will give the new and curious cook some ideas about basic foods.
